We believe the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, without any contextual error, the all-sufficient authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. Psalm 19:7-11; 2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:20-21; Heb 4:12.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19; 1 Pet 1:1-2.
We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father and is now our only High Priest and Advocate. Isaiah 7:14; Matt 1:18,23,25; John 1:1; Rom 3:24-25; 8:34; 1 Cor 15:3-4; Col 1:14; 1 John 2:1-2.
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and therefore is lost. Only through regeneration by the work of the Holy Spirit can man's salvation and spiritual life be obtained. Gen 1:26-27; Rom 3:9-18; 5:14; 1 Cor 15:22; Gal 3:22; Eph 2:1-3.
We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man's works, and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We further believe that Jesus Christ is the only means of salvation and to heaven. John 3:16; Rom 6:23; Eph 2:8-9; Col 2:13-14.
We believe that water baptism is by immersion and the Lord's Supper is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross and His soon return. These are ordinances to be observed by the church in the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as a means for man's salvation; nor another traditional chain upon one’s feet. Matt 28:19; Luke 22:7-10; Acts 2:38,41; Rom 6:1-11; 1 Cor 11:23-32.
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues. This heavenly communication both equips and empowers the believer to evangelize and impact the world in which we live. Acts 2:1-4; 10:44-46; 19:5-6; Rom 8:26.
We believe that divine healing for the ills of the physical body is available through faith in the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24; 3 John 2.
We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His Second Coming inspires believers for dynamic and zealous life and service while waiting for His return. 1 Thess 4:16; Titus 2:13.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven, and the everlasting punishment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell. 2 Cor 4:14; 1 Thess 4:13-17; Rev 20:1-6; 22:1-5.
We believe in the autonomy of the local church. The church shall manage its own affairs and shall not be subject to any other religious body or organization. Matt 28:18-20; Col 3:12-17.
We believe that Marriage unites one man and one woman in a lifetime commitment to each other. Marriage provides for intimate companionship, pure sexual expression, procreation, and reflects the relationship of Christ and the church. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between one man and one woman. Genesis 2:23-25; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:31-33; Genesis 19:5, 13; Genesis 1:28; Proverbs 5:15-19; 1 Corinthians 7:1-5; Genesis 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1-8; Hebrews 13:4.
